Description

Who is this product for? This concentration is ideal for adult cats weighing between 1–3 kg, without neurological FIP symptoms, with signs of anemia and/or Jaundice. As treatment progresses and your cat regains appetite and muscle mass, body weight will increase — making regular weighing essential. Weigh your cat weekly and adjust the dose accordingly using our dosage calculator.

What results should I expect? Most cats show visible signs of improvement within the first vial. Early indicators of a positive response include a returning appetite, increased physical activity, reduction or resolution of fever, and a resumption of normal self-grooming behavior. These signs are encouraging and typically appear within the first several days of treatment.

Treatment Info

GS-441524 is an antiviral medication used for the treatment of Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP), a serious and historically fatal viral disease caused by a mutated strain of the Feline Coronavirus (FCoV). GS-441524 works by inhibiting viral replication, allowing your cat's immune system to recover and fight the infection effectively.

FIP occurs in two primary forms — wet (effusive) and dry (non-effusive) — as well as a neurological form affecting the brain and spinal cord. GS-441524 has demonstrated efficacy across all forms of FIP when administered at the appropriate dose and duration.

Treatment requires a minimum of 84 days of daily injections. Cats with neurological FIP typically require a higher concentration and may need an extended treatment course. Regular monitoring by a veterinarian throughout treatment is strongly recommended to assess response, adjust dosage as your cat's weight changes, and manage any side effects.

With timely diagnosis and consistent treatment, the majority of FIP-positive cats achieve full remission.
